அந்தத் தினம் வென்றது ஒரு எக்ஸ்! அந்தப் புள்ளி முட்டையின் அருகில் வந்து சேர்ந்தது அதன் மேல் அழுத்தி அதனுள் ஒரு துளையிட்டு உள்ளே புகுந்து வாலைப் புறக்கணித்துவிட்டு தலை மட்டும் உட்புறத்தில் சென்று சற்று விரிந்து முட்டையின் உட்கருவுடன் ஜோடி சேர்ந்து கொள்ள இனிமேல் மற்றவர் எவரும் உள்ளே வர வேண்ட்டாம் என்று முட்டை தன்னைச் சுற்றி திரை அமைத்துக் கொள்ள…
அப்போதுதான் அவள் பிறந்தாள். அவள் அவளான ஒரு பெண் என்று நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட அந்தக் கணம்.
மறுதினம் அம்மா காலை எழுந்து காப்பி போட்டு, மூத்தவனைப் படிக்க எழுப்பி, பாத்திரம் தேய்க்கப் போட்டு, வாசல் தெளிக்த்துக் கோலம் போட்டு, பாட்டிக்கு ஓட்ஸ் கஞ்சி வைத்து, வென்னீர் போட்டு, அப்பா பேப்பர் படித்து, ரேடியோவில் பக்தி கேட்டு, பல் தேய்த்து, காப்பி சாப்பிட்டு, குளித்து கந்தனை முணுமுணுத்து விட்டு…
அவர்கள் தினசரி அவசரங்களில் அதை முழுவதும் மறந்து விட்டார்கள்.
அந்த முட்டை பேராசை பிடித்தது போல் வளர ஆரம்பித்தது.

in 2nd para., "amma" refered to the lady who is pregnant...and who is already mother..for a boy....

if i didn't mention this the above my above comment will not be fullfilled.,
apart from his perky description for gender...he always visualised the events of life in his writings.,
say.,if u read his story of 60's the words and writings will really visualise u the period and people...interstingly :)
his writings abt science in Tamil..is more adorable than anything....we couldnot even feel that we r learning something complicated... :D
